Upload & use images
Upload images to the media library, add alt text, and place images inside blocks.
1 The media library
Open Media → Media. This holds all images, videos, and fonts for your site as preview tiles. Each uploaded image is automatically resized into several variants (thumbnail, card, desktop, mobile) so the website loads quickly.
2 Upload an image
Click Create New and choose a file (or drag it into the field). Always fill in the alt text — it is required, describes the image for screen readers and search engines, and serves as fallback text. You may optionally add a caption. Save when done.
3 Use an image in a block
In blocks with image fields (e.g. Hero or Text & Media) click Choose image. The media library opens: pick an existing image or upload a new one right there. The same image can be reused without uploading it again.
